Affiliate Disclosure And Privacy Policy

Tour Rapa Nui earns affiliate commission when you book through our links to GetYourGuide or Viator, at no extra cost to you. This page explains exactly which links carry our tag, what that does not change, and what data this site does and does not collect.

Affiliate Disclosure

Tour Rapa Nui is an independent comparison site for guided Easter Island tours. It is not a tour operator. It does not run, sell or hold seats on any tour, and nothing is charged on this site. The only affiliate relationships are with GetYourGuide and Viator.

Which Links Are Affiliate Links

Every "Check availability" button and every in-text tour link on this site points to one of those two platforms and carries the site's partner tag. If you book after clicking, the platform pays this site a share of the commission it earns from the operator. The price you pay is the same either way.

There are no hotel links, flight links, display ads, sponsored posts or paid reviews anywhere on the site. No operator pays to be featured or ranked, and none has ever been offered a position in any list. Where a category leads with one tour, it leads on its own record of ratings and reviews.

What It Does Not Change

The commission does not buy anyone a better write-up. The 2-day package is the most-reviewed listing on the site and rates 4.4, not 4.9, and the card says 4.4. Some tours do not offer free cancellation, and the cards say so. Where a tour has no published price, we state none.

Hotels, flights, rentals and restaurants are off-scope for this site. The $100 Rapa Nui National Park ticket is sold by the park at its own official site, rapanuinationalpark.com, and this site takes no share of it. No tour listed here includes that ticket. The FUI entry form is filed with the Chilean government through its own portal, and this site has no part in it.

Ratings, Review Counts And Prices

Ratings and review counts shown on this site are the platform's own published numbers, read from the live listing. Prices are per-person USD from-prices that move with date and season. Durations, pickup details, stops and cancellation terms are the operator's own words taken from its listing.

Because all of these figures belong to the platforms and operators and change without notice, the live listing is always the authority. Treat everything here as a reading taken at a moment in time, not a guarantee for your travel date.

If You Would Rather Not Use Our Links

You can bypass the affiliate tag entirely. Search the operator's name directly on the booking platform and book there: Rapa Nui Dream, Hotumatur Rapa Nui, Easter Island Your Tour, Green Island Tours, Kava Kava Tours, Easter Island Travel, or Kapua Tours & Experience. You will find the same listings, and this site simply earns nothing.

Privacy Policy

This is a static site. There are no accounts, logins, comments or forms of any kind, which removes most of the usual privacy surface before we get to the details.

What We Collect

Google Analytics 4 records aggregate visit data: which pages were viewed, a rough region, device type, and which tour links were clicked. Google uses its own cookies to do this. That is the full extent of intentional collection, and it exists to answer one question: which pages and listings actually help people choose a tour.

Cookies And Embedded Content

The homepage videos load from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie domain, so YouTube sets no tracking cookie until you press play. The homepage map is a Google Maps embed, and it loads Google resources when the page loads; that is Google's behaviour, governed by Google's policies.

When you click through to a booking page, the platform sets its own affiliate cookie so a booking can be credited to this site. That cookie belongs to the platform and falls under the platform's own privacy policy, not this one.

What We Do Not Do

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are not used to identify visitors. If Cloudflare records something about a request, it stays within Cloudflare's own logging purposes and retention rules.

Your Choices

An ad blocker, a tracking-protection setting or Do Not Track stops the analytics script, and nothing on the site breaks. Every page works with JavaScript turned off, apart from the mobile menu. If you want no affiliate cookie at all, search the operator's name directly on the platform and book there.

There is no contact form. The contact page is a mailto link to info@tourrapanui.com, so any email you send travels through your own provider, not through this site. Questions about these policies, a listing, or a correction are welcome there: see the contact page.
